PHILADELPHIA - Fresh off a Big Five win in front of a packed Palestra, Penn men's basketball takes its three-game winning streak back into Ivy League play on Monday night against rival Princeton at 7 p.m. at the "Cathedral of Basketball".
Students filled up the Red and Blue Crew section as part of the "Palestra Whiteout" last weekend and can secure their seats for Monday's Ancient Eight tilt on Locust Walk Thursday, Friday and on game day from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
In addition to purchasing tickets on Locust Walk or at the Box Office in Weightman Hall, students will have two opportunities to win free tickets via contests on Twitter.
Starting on Thursday afternoon and continuing through Friday, followers of @PennAthletics will be notified of clues to hidden locations on Penn's campus where Red and Blue Crew tickets are located. The first to arrive and find the tickets wins!
Also starting on Thursday, students who stop by the Red and Blue Crew table on Locust Walk can pick up #BeatPrinceton stickers to proudly display. On Friday, members of Penn Athletics' marketing staff will be roaming campus looking for students wearing these #BeatPrinceton stickers and rewarding spirited students with free tickets to Monday's game.
Penn is 10-9 this season, and 2-0 inside the Ivy League to currently sit tied atop the standings. Senior point guard Zack Rosen was recently named a finalist for the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award presented annually to an outstanding senior men's basketball player across the country. Fans can vote for Zack online here or #BackZack via Facebook here!
