PHILADELPHIA - Tyler Kinn put on quite a show in the final five minutes of Penn's 2-1 win over Princeton on Saturday night, making two saves to perserve the win for his club. On Monday, he was named Philadelphia Soccer Six Co-Player of the Week.
One of three players nabbed for the honor this week on a successful weekend inside the city, Kinn finished the game with four saves, three coming in the final 45'. His lunging stop with 13 seconds left was the biggest stop of the game and finished off a wild flurry in the Red and Blue's defensive third.
Penn has recevied a Philadelphia Soccer Six Player of the Week for the fourth time this season, with Duke Lacroix picking up the honors twice and Stephen Baker doing so once.
Kinn is now 1-1-0 this season and has a 0.99 GAA inb his two starts. The Quakers finish up the 2011 season on Saturday at Harvard with a 7 p.m. kickoff.
