The Quakers (15-9, 7-5 Ivy League) dropped the first game, 30-23 to the Big Green (6-16, 3-9 Ivy League). Penn won the second game, 30-27. The third game was hightlighted by Thomason's nine straight points, which brought the Quakers back from behind and to the eventual victory in the game, 30-28. Penn closed out the match by winning the fourth game, 30-24,
In additon to Thomason and Black's 17 kills, senior Lynzy Caton contributed 16 kills and freshman Linda Zhang had 56 assists. Thomason also led the team in digs with 26 and sopomore Meredith Damore had 18.
The Quakers are next in action on Saturday, Nov. 13 when they travel to Cambridge, Mass. to take on Harvard at 4 p.m.
