Watson Earns NSCAA Regional Honors

PHILADELPHIA - Senior defender Robin Watson was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All Mid-Atlantic Region Soccer Teams. She was a second-team selection.

Watson, who started every match of her collegiate career (68 total) and earned three first-team All-Ivy selections in her career, anchored a Quaker defense in 2005 that posted a 1.25 goals-against average and seven shutouts. Despite the loss of numerous seniors and a youthful lineup this fall, Penn constructed a winning record (8-6-3).

This is the first regional honor bestowed upon Watson by the NSCAA; she is the fifth player in Penn history to garner second-team regional recognition from the coaches.
