Penn women's lacrosse senior Lindsey Cassidy (Broomall, Pa.) has been named the Penn Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 11.

Cassidy scored four goals on April 10, including a hat trick in the second half, to bring the Quakers back from a 7-4 deficit against Harvard. Down 9-6 with 12:48 remaining, Cassidy scored three-straight goals over the next five minutes to tie the game at 9.

Cassidy also caused three turnovers, one of which resulted in a goal for the Quakers, who went on to win 10-9 and improve to 3-1 in the Ivy League this season.

Earlier in the week against No. 18 Penn State, the co-captain scored on a free position late in the game to tie the score and send the game into overtime. Unfortunately, Penn fell, 9-8, to the nationally-ranked Nittany Lions.

Next on the schedule for Penn is a meeting with No. 1 Princeton on Wed., April 14 in New Jersey.
