Westman to Compete For Men's Track at NCAAs

NCAA Championships Information

PHILADELPHIA - The Penn men's track & field program has put together a nice corps of multi-event athletes in the last several years, and that will be on display this week as the Quakers are represented by junior Max Westman in the decathlon at the NCAA Championships, which will take place in Des Moines, Iowa, beginning Wednesday and continuing through Saturday.

With a top score of 7,327 points this spring, Westman is 24th on the list of 54 declared athletes for the event.

Westman is the lone member of the Penn men's team competing at NCAAs this week; he is joined by seniors Jesse Carlin and Stacy Kim from the women's team.
