KENYON, Ohio - The Penn women's swimming and diving team continued its strong run at the Nike Invitational, maintaining a first-place lead after two days.
The Quakers have 793 points, ahead of host Kenyon who has 684. The Red and Blue got two first place finishes on the afternoon from senior Andrea Balint and freshman Ji Young Lee.
Balint won the 400 yard IM in 4:27.76 finishing nearly two seconds ahead of second place finisher and teammate Melissa Parratto.
Lee took home first place in the 100 year breaststroke with a time of 1:05.04, finishing ahead of teammate Kelby Zimmerman (1:05.38) who was second. Sophomore Laura Klick took fourth in the event with a time of 1:06.02.
The women return to the pool tomorrow for another day of swimming.
