Women Tracksters Pick Up Pair of Fourth Place Finishes at Penn Relays

Philadelphia - The University of Pennsylvania women’s track and field team placed in two relays on the final day of events at the 2005 Penn Relays on Franklin Field. The Quakers placed fourth in the both the 4x400m ECAC Championship and the 4x800m College Relay.

The quartet of freshman Claire Kim, senior Rachel Dailey, freshman Stacy Kim and freshman Jamie Liberti grabbed a fourth-place finish in the College section of the 4x800m. The team crossed the finish line in a time 9:07.71.

In 4x400m ECAC Championships, the foursome of freshman Jesse Carlin, freshman Shaunee Morgan, Junior Dana McCurdy and senior Izu Emeagwali finished fourth in the event with a time of 3:42.91.

The Quakers return to action on May 7-8 at the Heptagonal Ivy League Championship at Columbia in New York City, N.Y.
