PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's track & field team will be represented by two team members at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships, which will take place this week beginning Wednesday in Des Moines, Iowa.

Senior Jesse Carlin will compete in the 800, where she earned All-America honors earlier this year at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Already this spring, Carlin has won the Heptagonal, ECAC, and NCAA East Region titles in that event.

Fellow senior Stacy Kim earned an at-large bid into the NCAAs and will compete in the 5,000. Earlier this spring, Kim shared Performer of the Meet honors at the Heptagonal Championships when she won the 1,500 in record time and also captured the 3,000 crown.

The women will be joined by Max Westman from the men's team; he will be competing in the decathlon.

The NCAA Championships are being hosted by Drake and are scheduled to run from Wednesday until Saturday.
