Women's Basketball Adds Three with Class of 2013

PHILADELPHIA - Three members make up the Class of 2013 for the University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team. Incoming freshmen Brianna Bradford, Katie Davis and Rebecca Lau will join the Quakers for the 2009-10 season.

Bradford, a 2008-09 McDonald's All-America nominee, is a product of Reservoir High School about 30 miles outside of Baltimore in Fulton, Md., while Davis, the reigning District and County Player of the Year at the Academy of the Holy Names, is a native of Tampa, Fla. Lau will be making the furthest journey to Philadelphia as she hails from Honolulu, Hawaii where she earned all-state honors on two ocassions. The trio will join a Penn team that finished fourth in the Ivy League last season. Four letterwinners graduated after the 2008-09 season as the Quakers tallied a record of 9-19 overall and 6-8 in the Ivy League.
