PHILADELPHIA - For the second straight year, the University of Pennsylvania women's basketball team was selected as part of the Ivy League's national television package with Fox Sports 1 and the American Sports Network.

The Quakers are just one of two women's games slated for a national television appearance. Penn will be on the American Sports Network when they visit Columbia on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 3 p.m.

Last year, the Quakers were featured on national television in the season finale at The Palestra. The CBS Sports Network showed Penn's matchup with Princeton. The Red and Blue were also on ESPN3 on four occasions last year, as well as on the SEC Network+ for the season opener at No. 4 Tennessee.

Penn returnsnine letterwinners and three starters from a team that claimed the program's first-ever Big 5 title last year, and reached the postseason for the third straight season (school record). The Quakers were 21-9 last year, including 11-3 in Ivy play, and reached the second round of the WNIT.

Penn began practice on Oct. 6 and hosts Duke in the season opener on Nov. 13. It will be the second game of doubleheader with the men, who tip off with Robert Morris at 5:30 p.m. The Penn-Duke women will tip at 8 p.m.
