BRONX, N.Y.--The Penn women's cross country team scored 85 points in second place at the Fordham Invite, Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in New York, N.Y. The team was edged by Ivy League rival Princeton which scored an impressive 20 points.
Leah Brogan was the first Quaker to cross the line with a time of 18:56, good enough for tenth place overall. Kinjal Parikh (13th place)was next across for Penn in a time of 19:08. Stacy Kim (15th place) finished five seconds after her teammate. Five other Quakers finished in the top 35.
Penn competes next when it travels to the University of Delaware on September 15.
