Bethlehem, Pa. - The Quakers took 15th out of 41 teams at the Paul Short Invitational on a rainy Friday morning in Bethlehem.
Sophomore Leslie Kovach was Penn's top finisher, taking 21st in less than ideal conditions with a time of 21:01. Fellow classmate Megan Powell continued her strong season with a time of 21:54, placing 76th.
Freshman Catherine Phillips was the third Red and Blue runner to finish, taking 114th in 22:19. Sophomores Margaret Diacont and Kimberly Condino rounded out the top five runners, placing 139th and 143rd.
The Quakers return to action in two weeks when they race in the Penn State Invitational on Oct. 16.
