New York, N.Y. - The Penn women's cross country squad took seventh place at Friday's Heptagonals held at Van Cortlandt Park.
Penn was led by a pair of freshman Friday morning as classmates Margaret Diacont and Leslie Kovach were the top finishers for the Red and Blue. Diacont placed 32nd overall with a time of 18:27 while Kovach was right on her heels in 33rd place (18:27).
Senior Anna Aagenes finished 38th overall and third on the team with a time of 18:33. Rounding out the final two scoring spots were first year Laura Bilder (18:48) and sophomore Laura Steel (19:08).
Princeton won its fourth consecutive Heps title with a record 15 points, as the Tigers took each of the top five spots.
