Women's Cross Country Takes Sixth at Heps

NEW YORK, N.Y.--The Penn women's cross country team raced to a sixth-place finish at the Ivy League Heptagonals, Friday in New York City. The Quakers scored 179 points on the day.

Led by Leah Brogan in 13th place overall and a time of 18:08.4, the Quakers other four scorers all finished in the top 51. Senior Kinjal Parikh clocked a time of 18:30.7 while Charlotte Lawson finished at 18:58.8. Kellee Hand crossed at 19:28.1 with Anna Aagenes on her heels at 19:32.9.

Also competing for Penn was Erin Comerford, Laura Steel, Stephanie Hayden, Katherine Hallock, Hannah Dow, Teresa Hamill and Veronica Salcido.
