PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's cross country team gets back on course this Friday when they race in the Heptagonal Championships at 11 a.m. in Van Cortlandt Park.
The Quakers were off last weekend after running in the Penn State Invitational on Oct. 16. Penn finished ninth out of 31 teams in a race which featured numerous top-25 programs. The Red and Blue were led once again by sophomore Leslie Kovach.

Penn finished seventh at last year's Heps and sixth in 2008, and is looking for its best finish since taking fourth in 2007.
