BETHLEHEM, Pa. - The Penn women's cross country team was one of five teams to have all their runners finish in the top 100, as the Quakers took seventh at the Paul Short Invitational on Friday.
Sophomore Laura Steel was the top finisher for Penn, taking 38th with a time of 21:23. She was followed by freshmen Margaret Diacont in 61st (21:37) and Leslie Kovach in 67th (21:41).
Senior Kellee Hand ran the course in 21:44, good for 75th, while fellow classmate Anna Aagenes finished just two seconds slower in 21:46 for 80th.
The Quakers have next week off before heading to the Penn State Invitational on Friday, October 16.
