Bethlehem, Pa. - The University of Pennsylvania women’s cross country team finished 17th at the 31st Paul Short Run on the campus of Lehigh University. The Quakers competed against a contigent of top teams in the country No. 10 Villanova, No. 13 Columbia, No. 15 Georgetown and No. 27 Yale.
Sophomore Jackie Dunn finished 57th crossing the finish line in a time of 22:17, while classmate Jen Blank came 65th in a time of 22:27. Freshman Claire Kim grabbed the 78th spot with a time of 22:43. Rounding out the scoring for the Red and Blue were senior Anna Marie Allander and sophomore Tina Morrison. Allander finished 82nd, while Morrison took the 97 spot with times of 22:47 and 23:02, respectively.
The Quakers will stay close to home next weekend, Oct. 2, as they take part in the La Salle Invitational at Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia.
