Women's Fencing Falls to Yale, 15-12

New Haven, Conn. -- The University of Pennsylvania women's fencing team fell to Yale on Saturday, 15-12. The Quakers notched their only victory on the day in the epee, 5-4.Yale won the sabre 6-3 and the foil 5-4.

In the sabre, Katelyn Sherry notched two wins on the day. Holly Buechel and Angelika Kyrimi each went 2-1 in the Red and Blue's epee victory. The foil was also decided by a score of 5-4, this time with the weapon going to the Bulldogs. Christina Kaneshige had two victories in the weapon for the Quakers.

The Quakers are next in action on Sunday, Jan. 30 when they host Rutgers and John's Hopkins in Weightman Gym at 1 p.m.
