Women's Golf Announces Class of 2015

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania's head coach of women's golf, Mark Anderson, has announced his recruited Class of 2015. Two women will join the women's golf program, which won the ECAC and Ivy League Championships team titles and competed in the NCAA West Regional in 2010 and followed that up with a trio of team tournament wins in 2010-11.

"I am very excited about this upcoming golf season and the new additions we have to the team," said Anderson, who enters his fourth year with the program in 2010-11. "I am looking for our team to build upon our successful season last year, and with Amanda and Kelsey joining our team I expect us to be even stronger.I am really looking forward to having these young women join our team.I know they are going to help us have another great season."

The women will open the season Sept. 19-21 at the Golfweek Challenge, to be held in Wolcott, Colo.
