Women's Golf Finishes Fifth at Princeton Invitational

Princeton, N.J.- The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team finished fifth at the 2004 Princeton Fall Invitational on Sept. 26 at Springdale Country Club. Led for the second-straight week by senior Melissa Aylor, the Quakers shot a 328-327=655 for a +79 to finish behind two Princeton teams, Yale and Georgetown.

Aylor finished the two-day tournament tied for seventh placeafter shootinga 78-79=157for a +13. Freshman Meg Bender shot an80-85=165 for a +21 which tied her for 20th place, while Kim Thompson was not far behind with an 86-80=166 for a+22.

The Quakers will conclude the 2004 fall season at the ECAC Tournament on Oct. 9-10.
