Women's Golf Finishes Play at Princeton Invite

PRINCETON - Penn completed play at the Princeton Invitational on Sunday, finishing in eight place out of 15 teams.

Lisette Vitter followed her first round 82 with a second round 78. Her two-day score of 160 was tied for 21st overall. Other Quakers in action were Meg Bender, Meredith Kotowski and Catherine Elliott. All three Penn golfers ended the tournament with a two-day score of 167, good for a 43rd place tie.

Bender added a second round 83 to her earlier 84. Kotowski carded an 80 on day two, seven shots lower than her first round 87. Elliot scored a secound round 84 to go with her 83 on day one of play.

The Penn women are back on the course September 29, when they participate in the Yale Fall Invitational in New Haven, Conn.
