Women's Golf Heads to Princeton This Weekend

PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women’s golf team returns to action this weekend by participating in the Princeton Invitational. The 54-hole event will run Saturday and Sunday on the par-72 Springdale Golf Club just off the Princeton campus.

Penn joins the host Tigers and several other Ivy League teams in the 12-team field (Brown, Columbia, Dartmouth, Yale). The non-Ivy teams include Delaware, Lehigh, Navy, Rollins College, St. John’s, and Seton Hall. They will play 36 holes on Saturday (first tee times coming at 8 a.m.) and then a final 18 on Sunday (tee times starting at 8 a.m.).

Penn’s lineup this weekend will include senior Amanda Chin; sophomores Isabella Rahm and Erin Lo; and freshmen Michelle Yom and Tiffany Yau.

"We are looking forward to facing six of the seven Ivy League teams this weekend at Princeton," said head coach Mark Anderson. "We have Amanda back in the lineup as well as Tiffany, who will be making her first appearance in our lineup after a strong showing as an individual at Yale."
