PHILADELPHIA- With just one week left before the Ivy League Championships, the Penn women’s golf team takes to the links one more time in tournament action this weekend. The Quakers will play in the ROAR-EE Invitational Friday and Saturday.

The host school is Columbia, and the teams will play at the par-72 Spook Rock Golf Club, a public coursein Suffern, N.Y. The 10-team field includes the Quakers andthe host Lions as well as fellow Ivy rivals Brown, Harvard, Princeton and Yale.

This is Penn’s first tournament since the Hoya Invitational, which they played March 29-30. In that event, Lisette Vitter was Penn’s low scorer, followed by freshman Tiffany Cheung, and then juniors Catherine Elliott and Meredith Kotowski. For the season, all four women have a stroke average under 83, led by Vitter (80.0) and Cheung (80.2).

Next weekend, the Quakers will join their seven conference brethren at the Ivy League Championships, a 54-hole event which will take place April 24-26 in Atlantic City, N.J.
