Women's Golf Reaches Final Tune-up For Ivies

PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's golf team faces its final tune-up before the Ivy League Championships, competing in the Roar-EE Invitational. The 36-hole event is hosted by Columbia University at the par-72 Spook Rock Golf Course in Suffern, N.Y.

Penn is one of three Ivy League teams in the 13-team field, joining the host Lions and Dartmouth. The other teams are Albany, Boston University, Fairleigh Dickinson, Lehigh, Long Island, Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart, Siena, Towson, and Wagner.

Penn's lineup will feature junior Tiffany Cheung, sophomores Isabel Han and Elizabeth Kresock, and freshmen Michelle Lee and Olivia Chang.

"I am looking forward to a strong finish from the team this week aswe play in our last event before Ivies," said Head Coach Mark Anderson. "We will lookclosely at our performance this week and see what areas we need to work on as we prepare to defend our Ivytitle next week.The women have been very solid thisseason,and we have worked hard this spring, so I expect us to be very much in the mix of what looks to be a very exciting Championship."
