PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women’s golf team will face one final test before the Ivy League Championships April 25-27. That comes this Friday, when the Quakers participate all day in the 36-hole Roar-EE Invitational. The event, hosted by Columbia University, will take place at the Knickerbocker Country Club in Tenafly, N.J. The Knickerbocker plays at par-72 and measures 6,115 yards.
Penn will be in a small field that includes two teams from host Columbia, Hartford and Quinnipiac. The first players are slated to head out at 8:30 a.m.
Penn’s lineup on Friday will include senior Olivia Chang; junior Amanda Chin; and freshmen Sophia Chen, Marissa Kay and Erin Lo.
“We are looking forward to a strong finish this week as this is our last event before the Ivy League Championship next week,” said head coach Mark Anderson. “The greens at Knickerbocker are challenging, and it will be a good test because we will be playing tough greens at Baltusrol at the Ivy League Championships.”
