Women's Golf Takes Seventh at Princeton

PRINCETON, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team took seventh out of 12 teams at the Princeton Invitational, a 54-hole event that took place Saturday and Sunday at the Tigers' Springdale Golf Club.

Penn shot 298-312-321--931 for the event. Yale won the team title, shooting 896 over the three rounds to beat second-place Rollins College by 11 strokes.

Isabella Rahm was Penn's low scorer over the weekend, carding 74-78-75--227 to tie for ninth overall out of 69 golfers. Amanda Chin tied for 21st overall, shooting 77-78-77--232 and scoring for the Quakers in all three rounds.

Erin Lo (75-78-84--237) tied for 31st overall, while Tiffany Yau (72-83-85--240) tied for 37th and Michelle Yom (81-78-92--251) tied for 61st overall.

Yale's Marika Liu (75-72-72--219) was the individual medalist, winning by one stroke.

Penn will conclude the fall portion of its 2014-15 season next weekend at the Delaware Invitational.
