PHILADELPHIA – Coming off a team win at its first tournament of 2015-16 two weeks ago, the University of Pennsylvania women’s golf team gets back to action this Saturday and Sunday at the 18th annual Princeton Invitational.

A strong field awaits the Quakers for the 36-hole event that will take place on the Tigers’ par-72, 6,100-yard Springdale Golf Club. All seven Ivy League programs will play at Princeton this weekend, along with Bucknell, Delaware, Georgetown, Lehigh, Navy, Quinnipiac, Rutgers and Seton Hall. Penn is scheduled to tee off with Seton Hall and Columbia on Saturday; Sunday’s tee times will be determined by first-round placement.

Head coach Mark Anderson’s lineup will include juniors Isabella Rahm and Marissa Kay; sophomores Allison Wong and Tiffany Yau; and freshman Rachel Dai.

“We are looking forward to the Princeton event this year, because it will be the only time this fall that we will see all of our Ivy League competition in the same tournament,” said Anderson. “It will be a great opportunity to see how we stack up against them this season. The weather is certainly going to be a challenge, and mental toughness will play a huge part in this event.”
