The teams are scheduled to play 36 holes on Monday, with the final round on Tuesday morning. Both days will have an 8:35 a.m. shotgun start. This year's 20-team field includes Yale as the only other Ivy League team besides the Quakers. Other Mid-Atlantic teams include Bucknell, Georgetown, James Madison, Longwood, Maryland, Old Dominion and William & Mary.
Penn is in this tournament for the second year in a row. Last year, the Quakers placed fourth in a 16-team field.
Head Coach Mark Anderson will roll out the same lineup he had at Princeton two weeks ago. That group include senior Tiffany Cheung, junior Isabel Han, sophomores Michelle Lee and Olivia Chang, and freshman Amanda Chin.
"We have been struggling a little bit to find our games this fall," said Anderson. "We have had some very good rounds but we have not been able to put up four solid rounds. We looked at what we needed to work on individually to start shooting lower scores. Over the past week, weworked hardon our short games andplaying with more confidence. We played well last year at ECU and finished fourth. If we can put together four solid rounds as a team every day, we should be right near the top of the field."
