MILFORD, Conn. - The University of Pennsylvania women's golf team rolled to the team title at the 10-team Sacred Heart Fall Classic, which concluded Monday at the par-72, 6,148-yard Great River Golf Club.

The Quakers shot 316-314--630 to finish well ahead of second-place Brown, the only other Ivy League team in the field. The Bears shot 647 for the tournament. Boston University was third (654).

"I am very proud of the team and their effort," said head coach Mark Anderson. "We have had some very solid individual performances this fall, but we were unable to put it all together as a team."

Individually, senior Isabel Han led a trio of Penn players to top-five finishes; she shot 76-74--150 and placed second in the 52-player field, behind only BU's Kristyna Pavlickova (76-72--148). Sophomore Amanda Chin fired 78-76--154 and tied for third place with LIU's Brianna Maynard, while junior Olivia Chang carded 79-76--155 and was alone in fifth place.

"Isabel, Amanda and Olivia really came through in the final round, with all three posting better scores than they did in the first round," said Anderson. "Isabel has worked hard on her swing and her mental game this fall and came very close to winning the tournament."

Senior Allison Oakes tied for 20th place in the field, shooting 83-88--171, while Elizabeth Kresock -- making her season debut as she continues to battle injuries -- shot 86-91--177 and was alone in 32nd place.
