Women's Rowing Complete Season at Belly

PRINCETON, N.J. - The Penn women's rowing team finished the fall portion of the 2007-08 season with two novice boats at the Belly of the Carnegie Sunday afternoon.

Racing on flat water, with a slight tailwind, Penn's A boat finished sixth out of 24 boats in the women's open competition with a time of 16:18.16 over the 2.75-mile course; the Quakers' B boat was eighth overall in 16:29.37.

Princeton's A boat was first among the women's boats, finishing the course in 15:28.79 which was a good 14 seconds ahead of second-place Dartmouth.
