CLEMSON, S.C. – On another day that was shortened due to poor racing conditions, the University of Pennsylvania women’s rowing team completed its racing at the Clemson Invite.
The varsity 8 was able to get both of its races in on Sunday. The Quakers finished sixth out of seven boats in its first race, clocking 7:09.9 over the 2,000-meter course, and later placed fourth out of seven in its second race with a time of 7:24.2.
The second varsity 8 also raced twice on Sunday. In the Quakers’ first race, they were sixth out of seven in a time of 7:17.4, while in their second race they were fourth out of seven in 7:45.5.
