Women's Rowing Finishes Racing at Princeton Chase

PRINCETON, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania women's rowing team concluded its racing at the Princeton Chase on Sunday.

In the Women's 8+ division, which consisted of 50 boats, Penn's A boat was fastest among the Quakers' boats as it clocked 15:34.646 on the three-mile course to place 15th overall. Penn's B boat was 32nd overall in 16:40.355, whlie the C boat was 40th (16:57.622) and the D boat was 45th (17:23.684).

In the Women's 4+ division, Penn's B boat was fastest among the Quakers' quartet of boats, clocking 17:23.789 to finish ninth in the field of 31 boats. Penn's A boat was 14th (17:46.053), while the C boat was 24th (18:22.243) and the D boat was 27th (18:32.230).

In the Novice 8 division, Penn's A boat went for sixth overall in a time of 16:36.619. The Quakers' B boat was 13th overall in 18:38.028, while the C boat was 15th in 20:05.097.

Penn will conclude the fall portion of its 2014-15 season on November 16 at the University of Virginia's Rivanna Romp.
