Women's Rowing Finishes Up at Clemson Invitational

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's rowing team concluded racing today at the Clemson Invitational.

Penn's best finish on Sunday morning came in the Varsity 4 B race, as the Quakers were fourth out of seven boats. The Red and Blue clocked 7:38.1 on the 2,000-meter course and defeated Indiana, Dartmouth and Duke.

Penn's Varsity 4 A boat was fifth out of seven boats on Sunday, timed in 7:36.0 and finishing ahead of Oregon State and Oklahoma.

Penn's Second Varsity 8 took sixth out of seven in its Sunday morning race, clocking 6:55.9 and beating Oklahoma. The Varsity 8 was seventh in its race, finishing the course in 6:59.3.

Penn will host Dartmouth and Princeton on the Schuylkill River next Saturday for the Class of 1984 Award Plaque.
