PHILADELPHIA – The University of Pennsylvania women’s rowing team continues the fall portion of its season this Sunday at the Princeton Chase, a 3-mile head event that is competed on Lake Carnegie.
The Quakers will have four boats in the women’s 8+; three boats in the Novice 8+; three pairs in the Women’s Varsity 2-; and two boats in the Women’s Varsity 4+.
“We plan to build on the success we had from last weekend's race in Boston,” said Head Coach Mike Lane. “The competition we will face on Sunday are some of the best teams in the country, so it is a great test for our program. We have more depth than I have seen in our program in a long time, and I am fired up to see how all of our championship 8+'s do!”
