Women's Rowing to Double Up at Head of the Charles

PHILADELPHIA - The University of Pennsylvania women's rowing team will send two boats to the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta on Sunday. The Quakers will have a boat in the Championship 8+, as usual, but they will also field a boat in the Championship 4+.

The Championship 4+ will go out at bow #11 Sunday at approximately 1:51 p.m., while the Championship 8+ will row in bow #12 and go out at approximately 2:18 p.m. The Head of the Charles is a three-mile head race on the Charles River.

On Saturday night, all three Penn rowing programs will host an alumni and friends event at the Russell House Tavern in Harvard Square.. That event will run from 6-9 p.m.
