"I am really excited to see this class in action," said Ambrose, who enters his 11th season overseeing the Quakers' program in 2010. "It is a very talented group and a very deep group -- just about every position on the field is represented among the nine players, and they will all bring something to the program this fall. They are a very athletic class overall, and it wouldn't surprise me to see several of them emerge during the year.
"I have gotten to know them all very well during the recruiting process, and I am as impressed with them off of the field as I am on it," he continued. "They will continue to represent Penn and our program on campus and in their own communities in the first-class manner in which our players have always done."
Penn begins the 2010 season on Friday, Sept. 5 when Towson comes to town. It is the first of four straight home games the Quakers will play to open the season.
