Philadelphia The University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer program announced its 2005 schedule. The schedule features five NCAA College Cup participants and a favorable 10 home games.
“The fall will provide a tough test for our young team,” Head Coach Darren Ambrose said. “Our non-league component is very strong with Arizona, NC state and Loyola Marymount, all of which will be solid opposition. In addition, games within our region including Loyola, George Mason and LaSalle are also going to be very strong this year.”
The Quakers will open play on Sept. 4 as Rider University visits Rhodes Field. The Red and Blue then will travel to Princeton for the Women’s Soccer Invitational Tournament Sept.8-10 where they will face Arizona and Loyola Marymount. The Quakers return home for three games against La Salle, NC State and George Mason.
