Philadelphia The University of Pennsylvania women’s soccer team will wrap up its 2004 campaign at No. 9 Princeton, Saturday, Nov. 6, at 7 p.m. Princeton (14-2-0, 6-0-0 Ivy League), who clinched the Ivy League title last week, will look to remain perfect in the League, while Penn (9-5-2, 4-1-1) looks to improve to 5-1-1.
The Quakers, who have gone undefeated in 10 of their last 11 contests, earned regional rankings this week from both the NSCAA (9th) and SoccerBuzz.com (14th). Two members of the Red and Blue also received national recognition, as goalkeeper Anna Halse is 19th in the nation in goals against average (0.597) and forward Katy Cross is 24th in points per game (1.94).
Penn has equaled its win total from 2003 and ended the last season with a 3-2 victory over Princeton on Rhodes Field.
