Women's Soccer Spotlight On ... Rachel Fletcher and Ashley Hull

We caught up for a little Q&A wtih Penn women's soccer rookies Rachel Fletcher and Ashley Hull.

What has been the best part of Penn Soccer so far?

RF: Getting to know all the girls has been a lot of fun.

AH: I love my teammates and the friendships I am forming. The trip to California was very nice too!

Do you have any superstitions or pre-game rituals?

RF: I always polish my shoes before a game.

What’s your favorite song to listen to before a game?

RE: “It Ain’t All Good” by De La Sol.

AH: “Can’t Stop” by Red Hot Chili Peppers.

What CD currently playing in your CD player?

AH: Incubus’ “Morning View”

What’s your favorite movie? ‘

AH: “Zoolander.”

What’s your most prized possession?

RF: I would say that my CD collection is my most prized possession.

How would you describe yourself in one word?

RF: Unique.

AH: Independent.

What’s your most embarrassing moment on the field?

AH: Falling with absolutely no one around me.

You’ve been at Penn for a month now, what’s the best class?

RE: Crystals!!!!

What is the most important thing that you can do for your team this season?

RF: The most important thing I can do to help the team this year is to have a good attitude and play wherever I’m told to.

AH: I think the most important thing I can do for my team this season is to learn from the experienced players on the team and work hard to make myself, and my teammates, better.
