Women's Squash Cruises on Senior Day

PHILADELPHIA -For the final time this season, the University of Pennsylvania women's squash team took the court at the Ringe Squash Courts, but they weren't there for long. All nine players worked 3-0 victories and Penn walked away with a 9-0 win.

Finishing off their final matches at home were seniors Haidi Lala, Yan Xin Tan, and Camille Lanier. All three earned 3-0 wins and walked off the court to hugs from teammates, friends, and family.

Reeham Salah won in the top spot for Penn. She won her first match 11-2, before taking the next two by 11-5 scores.

Anaka Alankamony played the closest match of the evening. She won her first two games quickly, but needed 13 points to close out the win.

Marie Stephan continued her string of dominance, winning 3-0. She is now 12-0 on the season and 36-0 in individual games.

Winning in the fifth spot was Rowaida Attia. Attia won 11-6 in the first two games before closing it out with an 11-5 clincher.

Only allowing nine total points and winning 3-0 was Michelle Wong. Wong won 11-4, 11-2, and 11-3.

Posting the only shutout of the day was Grace van Arkel. van Arkel played two close games, before winning 11-0 in the third.

The Quakers will pack their bags and head to Ithaca for a meeting with Cornell on Sunday in their season finale.
