Princeton, N.J. - The University of Pennsylvania women's squash team defeated Brown, 5-4, on Saturday in the consolation round of the Howe Cup. It was the second win on the season over Brown for the Quakers.
The Quakers (5-6, 2-4 Ivy), the No. 6 seed entering the tournament,had a solid performance from the middle of the lineup, notching victories at the Nos. 2, 3, 4, 6 and 7 positions. Radhika Ahluwalia, Caitlin Russell, Lauralynn Drury, Annie Barrett and Chloe Wynne all put in solid performances in their wins.
"It was a marathon match," said Head Coach Jack Wyant. "The result was a testament to the patience and the willingness of the team to work for every point. The win today validates all of the hard work that they have put in all season."

The Quakers next return to the court on Sunday, Feb. 20, when they take on Dartmouth in the finals of the theconsolation bracket at 10:30 a.m.
