Women's Squash Dominates Drexel, Improves to 2-0

PHILADELPHIA -Making their 2015-16 home debut, the University of Pennsylvania women's squash team didn't take long to send the Drexel Dragons back to their side of West Philadelphia, defeating their neighbor, 9-0.

Putting together another impressive early-season showing, the Quakers crusied to a 9-0 victory without a single player on the ladder losing a game. In all, it was a 27-0 clean sweep.

Reeham Salah competed at the top of the ladder for Penn and made quick work of her opponent winning by scores of 11-3, 11-1, and 11-6.

Melissa Alves was victorious in the No. 2 role, winning 11-1, 11-4, and 11-4. All-American Marie Stephan rounded out the top three, winning all three of her games 11-4.

Captains Yan Xin Tan and Camille Lanier both ran away with convincing 3-0 wins, and All-American Anaka Alankamony hit her way to 11-2, 11-3, and 11-6 wins.

Penn will wait 12 days before taking the court again, when they face off against St. Lawrence and Williams on December 6, beginning at 12 p.m.
