Women's Squash Earns Sunday Sweep

PHILADELPHIA – Competing twice in one day was not enough to slow down the University of Pennsylvania women’s squash team, as they rolled to 9-0 victories against St. Lawrence and Williams.

Competing at the one position once again was Reeham Salah ran away with a pair of 3-0 wins without giving up more than three points to her opponents. Salah, Marissa Alves, Marie Stephan, Yan Xin Tan, and Anaka Alankamony all won games throughout the day, 11-0. Tan accomplished the feat twice.

The Quakers won every game they played on Sunday going a combined 54-0.

Lauren Wolf participated in two matches as the No. 10 and rolled to back-to-back, 3-0 wins and Sara Coyne won both games she played to further Penn’s impressive day.

Penn moves to 4-0 on the year, but must wait over a month until they take the court again. The Quakers will face No. 1 Harvard on the road on January 9.
