Women's Squash Falls to Harvard, 6-3

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - The No. 5 University of Pennsylvania women's squash team was unable to get the best of No. 2 Harvard, falling, 6-3, Saturday afternoon.

The Quakers (7-3, 2-3 Ivy League) posted three points against a Harvard squad that beat them 8-1 last season.

"This result - like against Yale and Princeton - represents progress," said Head Coach Jack Wyant."We didn't win the match but the team competed well and continues to learn fromthese hard-fought losses. At some point we will turn the corner. It's just a question of when."

Penn's points came in the bottom half of the line-up. No. 5 player Tara Chawla won her match, 3-2, while Emily Goodwin was a 3-1 winner at No. 8 and Elizabeth Kern was also a 3-1 victor at No. 9.
