Philadelphia,Pa.- The University of Pennsylvania women's squash team fell to Trinity, 8-1, on Saturday in the Ringe Squash Courts.
"Today the team played reasonably well against a very talented opponent," said Head Coach Jack Wyant. "The match was a little closer than the scoreline and we're not as far removed from a team like Trinity as the 8-1 score would indicate."
The Quakers (4-5, 2-4 Ivy) earned their sole point of the day at the No.8 position whenElizabeth Kern swept KimPalterman, 3-0. Trinity took six of the other matches with scores of 3-0. Radhika Ahluwalia at No. 2 and Lauralynn Drury were the only other Quakers toscore against the Bantams.
