Women's Squash Falls to Trinity, 8-1

Philadelphia,Pa.- The University of Pennsylvania women's squash team fell to Trinity, 8-1, on Saturday in the Ringe Squash Courts.

"Today the team played reasonably well against a very talented opponent," said Head Coach Jack Wyant. "The match was a little closer than the scoreline and we're not as far removed from a team like Trinity as the 8-1 score would indicate."

The Quakers (4-5, 2-4 Ivy) earned their sole point of the day at the No.8 position whenElizabeth Kern swept KimPalterman, 3-0. Trinity took six of the other matches with scores of 3-0. Radhika Ahluwalia at No. 2 and Lauralynn Drury were the only other Quakers toscore against the Bantams.

The Quakers next return to the court on Friday, Feb. 18 when they travel to Princeton, N.J. to participate in the Howe Cup. The event runs through Sunday, Feb. 20.
