Women's Squash Rolls Past Stanford

PHILADELPHIA -Taking on fifth-ranked Stanford, the University of Pennsylvania women's squash team rolled to a 9-0 win to improve to 6-1 on the season. Penn holds the No. 2 spot in the country and has won all of it's matches by 9-0 scores.

The Quakers won by a combined score of 27-2 in games and featured eight 3-0 wins. Reeham Salah continued her dominance in the top spot with a 3-0 win, surrendering no more than four points in any of the three games.

2015 All-Americans Anaka Alankamony, Yan Xin Tan, and Marie Stephan competed two through four and all cruised to 3-0 wins.

Rowaida Attia made quick-work of her opponent with a 3-0 win five spot. At six, Michelle Wong followed suit, shutting out her Cardinal counterpart.

Camille Lanier and Grace Van Arkel competed at eight and nine and both impressed with 3-0 wins.

Haidi Lala needed all five games to close out the 9-0 win for the Quakers, but she came through winning the deciding game 11-4.

Penn is back at it next Saturday when they head to perenial powerhouse Trinity.
