PHILADELPHIA – It’s the last match of the regular season, and the last match of Ivy play, when the third-ranked University of Pennsylvania women’s squash team hosts No. 11 Columbia on Sunday.

Penn (9-2, 5-1 Ivy) is coming off a 6-3 Ivy win against Cornell on Friday evening, and is seeking to continue a five-match winning streak to close out the regular season.

The Quakers come into the Columbia match led by co-captains Courtney Jones and Chloe Blacker and sophomores Yan Xin Tan and Haidi Lala, all of whom won against the Big Red on Friday.

In what will be just the fourth meeting between the two Ivy schools Penn has won all three previous meetings against the up-and-coming Columbia program. The Lions (6-5, 1-5 Ivy) are coming off back-to-back 9-0 losses against Harvard and Princeton.

The match against Columbia will be the final regular season home match for Penn’s Blacker, Jones and fellow senior Hyland Murphy.

Penn and Columbia will square off beginning at 1 p.m. in Ringe Courts.
