Women's Squash Squashes Franklin & Marshall

PHILADELPHIA - The Penn women's squash team did not allow Franklin and Marshall a single game as they swept the Diplomats 9-0 in Penn's first home match of the season, Wednesday night at Ringe Courts. The Quakers improved to 2-0 while F&M fell to 0-2 and has yet to win even one game in a match.

From the top of the ladder to the bottom, Penn dominated the courts, outscoring the Diplomats 297-52 points. Freshman Yarden Odinak, now 2-0 on the season, only allowed her opponent to three total points, winning 11-1, 11-1, 11-1. Junior Annie Madeira played to near perfection as well, clinching her match by game scores of 11-0, 11-1, 11-1.

The Quakers return to action this weekend when they host Ivy foes Yale on Saturday at 11 a.m. and Brown on Sunday at 11 a.m at the Ringe Squash Courts.
