Women's Squash Sweeps Brown, 9-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – After its momentous win over Yale Saturday, the University of Pennsylvania women’s squash team showed no signs off a hangover Sunday, disposing of No. 8 Brown, 9-0. All nine Penn players won their matches in straight sets.

After losing Saturday, freshmen Kristen Lange and Sydney Scott rebounded nicely, winning at Nos. 1 and 2. Scott shutout Zarah Rahman in Games 2 and 3.

At No. 4, sophomore Tara Chawla also shutout her opponent in the first two games. Paula Pearson, Britt Hebden, Radhika Ahluwalia, Alisha Turner, Christina Matthias, Lauralynn Drury and Caitlin Russell were also victorious.

The Quakers will now take a month off as the fall semester winds down. Penn (3-0, 3-0 Ivy) will be in action again from Jan. 5-7 in the William White Invitational.
